Marketing and Business Development
How is your business feeling? Not quite the well-oiled machine it needs to be? Displaying odd symptoms? Diagnosing where the inefficiencies are, then prescribing what it takes to get ready for the customers of the future can be tough. That is, until you meet Chris Waters. Our resident cross-examiner, and guru of the adage ‘work smarter, not harder’, Chris, wants to get to know your business, to understand the intricate ins and outs and figure out ways technology can transform your bottom line.
Around the office, Chris is busy onboarding new customers who are maximizing their businesses with technology platforms like Pipeline and SmartOrder among others. Rumor has it that Chris is the visionary behind a few new exciting products under the DSD Partners’ umbrella that are launching soon. His passion for combining sales and marketing with food and beverages is fueled by energy drinks and tuna sandwiches with pickles; talk about a well-oiled machine!
It’s obvious that Chris is an analytical, creative, and astute marketer who brings positivity to the entire DSD Partners’ team. But what you may not know is that behind the scenes, Chris is running 15 miles a week and jamming out on his guitar (however, we can’t confirm or deny that he’s doing them both at the same time). This musician does take requests from the audience, so go ahead and start thinking of your favorite karaoke tune. He would like to learn to play the saxophone next, but Chris is entrenched with bringing new transformative products to market.
Chris has many siblings, but his mother describes him as her ‘Nomad Son’, after all Chris would love to spend more time in the Mediterranean, except he hasn’t quite learned how to ‘Roll’ his ‘R’s yet- so his next best wish would be to venture off the grid in Alaska for a few weeks. We looked at the weather in Alaska, and promptly talked him out of that. Plus we need him here at DSD Partners, his innovative pursuit is driving our customers to successfully navigate the turning tide of retail.
